This might seem like an easy one but it is the most important thing you can do.This is the time to make your house shine from top to bottom!Have your carpets professionally cleaned to eliminate any unusual odors or stains.Clean all your windows which can be one of the most affordable and biggest changes to your home. A clean home for every showing is so important; you never know which one could get you that perfect offer.

Start Packing: You are moving, so get those moving boxes. Pack up anything you can to help the house look more spacious and de-cluttered.Use your garage or basement to store the boxes or if needed rent a storage unit.

Upgrades: This can be affordable. It can be as simple as changing all the door knob handles with more modern options, new cabinet hardware, new faucets, new towel racks, new shower curtains, etc. It can make a huge impact to paint the walls to a neutral color and/or paint the cabinets. Also, consider updating the flooring, replacing the counter-tops, replacing all the trim around doors/baseboards and/or adding new bathroom vanities.
